A cyclone was drive into the southeast coast on Monday, for which atleast four people were killed and authorities moved thousands of people from low-lying areas. Cyclone Vardah hitted Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and also neighboring state Andhra Pradesh, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The Strong wind of up to 87 mph downtrodden the show-witted populated coast, deracinate trees and bringing down electricity pylons.
