A blast has taken place in Pakistan's Lahore, near the assembly house of the Punjab province, in which several persons are feared dead. Pakistani media reported that the blast took place early this evening on Mall Road, a busy locality. A vehicle, presumably filled with explosives, had blown up while a protest was in progress in the area. Quoting Pakistani media, news reported that seven people, including police personnel, had died. Several others were injured.
Another Islamic Terrorist attack in Pakistan. This is another of the MANY Terrorists attacks that we never hear about. This time 20 people were killed and many more injured. It was during a protest march, but the protesters were not the Target...the Police were!
The explosion went off in Lahore's busy Mall Road during a rally attended by hundreds of pharmacists protesting against changes to a drug sale law outside the provincial assembly building.
Popular MESSAGE is circulating against Pakistan Govt. in Social Media:
- A country whose politicians are busy creating offshore properties with the tax money of its people rather than investing in policies to improve the security of its citizens should not be shocked at the news of a terrorist attack.
- A country whose political leaders have the audacity to negotiate with the same "TERRORISTS" who have bombed it should not be surprised when they hear a bomb blast!
- These same politicians have the nerve to say, "We have fought this fight against the terrorists among us, and will continue to fight it until we liberate our people of this cancer and avenge those who have laid down their lives for us."
- No, Nawaz Shareef! You have not fought any fight. Pakistan Army Jawans are the ones that have been putting their lives on the line to protect Pakistan from terrorism.
- You have done nothing other than organizing peace talks with Terrorists!
- You haven't been able to liberate your people from the cancer of illiteracy or hunger, and you speak of freeing them from terrorism!
